the annyjack label goes from strength to strength and is gaining a seriously loyal fanbase who are fans of its subtle snth and pad laden tech house grooves. this 4 track release offers some very nice flavours with the a1 side track being a cool dancefloor track with its sophisticated string parts and nice bassline. the a2 again has a nice grooving feel with its arpeggiated synth riff. the b side really stands out here with its extremely classy minimal feel and spaced out parts. great!

typical is a new minimal label. this first 4 tracker has to be heard to be believed. the theme with this release is dubbed out minimal fatness and the a1 starts off with just that with its serious bassy undertones and liquid percussion. the a2 continues the excitement with its fat sub and squelchy undertones whilst on the flip the real star of the show with its ace clicky groove and synths is the b1. the b2 rounds things off nicely with another more old school sounding synth laden groove.

david keno is really making a name for himself with some quaility releases on labels like i220. here he has written a quality 3 tracker that kicks ass. the a side is a wonderful string laden melodic track with some fantastic chords and pads. the b1 is another quality piece of music again with its spacey chords and nice percussion and the b2 perfectly finishes the story with its more darkroom heads down groove.
